2G Will a GS Radio Wire Harness work with a GST Wire harness?

Will a GS Radio Wire Harness work with a GST Wire harness? My 1997 GST I bought came with no radio, meaning the wire harness wires were spliced. I was just wondering if I go to a junk yard and cut the radio wire harness male side off of an Eclipse and re-attach it to mine. Would that work or not?
