Okay im trying to install my hid kit and the directions are not clear at all. I took some pics to see if you guys can help me and tell me with plug goes where.

theres a " control box" that has a postive battery wire with a inline fuse, a ground wire, and two little wires( red and black) no clue were those go. also 2 clips that look like they go to the ballasts.

and for the lights, theres a clip that fits in to the stock clip, then theres also another one!? where does that go??

ahhh this is so frustrating.

where does the second plug by the light go?

anyone have any diagrams?

The first picture of the "control box" is actually your ballast. You should have two of them correct?

A single picture with all the parts would be helpful. The two small black/red wires are probably your switched source (positive/ground) that trigger the ballast (usually run off your stock wiring.) This kit doesn't have instructions?

no i know thats the ballast, the directions say that the control box is the one with the ground wire, postive wire with the inline fuse, and the 2 wires that idk where they go to

where do those connect to

heres the control box, were to the little positive and negative wires go? they dont connect to anything?

you use the stock ones that connect to your current headlights... take your headlight off and you should see the connection that connects from the frame of the car to your lights. you put that connection with the extension cord. ( the black one with the same ends) into the ballast. its really simple man. LOL.. tag this as helpful.. :)

he ment because there are a lot of people who go against that because the light tends just to go wherever and its dangerous. where other people make a thing called retro fit projectors..

So I'm having a similar problem, the link won't come up with anything for me when I click it. The stock power connector for the headlights has three prongs and 3 wires, the power connector for my hid kit is 2 prong, different shaped, so I figured I would have to splice or cut the connecter to the HIDs and add spades or something, just dont know if spades would fit or which of the three wires I would connect to? I'm trying to install a high beam and a low beam kit. 9005 and 9006.

The 3 prong plug from the car goes into the headlight. Your ballast plugs into the hid bulb. Hidplanet.com is a great source for info and might help you a ton
