How do you plug and play HID's in a 1gb? I picked up a kit, and it is not so plug and play, since the 9006 socket plugs into a master plug. How do you get around this?

did you order a 9006 kit? Because if you did, then just plug it and go. Thats why they call it plug and play. If it doesn't work, flip the plug over and it will work. Done! You have to plug into the 9006 plug inside the headlight. Now, if you wanna bypass this, rip all the wires apart (not rip apart like damage), and hard wire the power plug directly into the stock harness.

OK, this isn't my first time putting in these lights. I've done them in my truck and my daughters car. Would someone please explain how they are supposed to be connected on this light housing? It is not cut and dry as it would seem to be. The 9006 connection is internal in the housing.

The bulb has these two connectors that I am suppose to plug into the 9006 connector in the HID kit. But as you can see, how am I supposed to route this?

drill a 1 inch hole in the plastic cover that goes over that area, the one that twists tight. and then feed all wires, connectors through it and then use the rubber piece on the hid wiring to seal up the hole.

I'm still trying to figure out what your problems are... A 9006 HID Conversion kit has a 9006 Plug on them that connects to the balast, and then connects to the bulb. How is that soo hard? Just because Mitsubishi puts the plug on the inside of the headlight doesn't mean anything, Leave the cover off of it, or do like the previous poster said, drill a small hole, usually 1" to put the rubber fitting in that will seal the headlight for you so you can properly install them. Other then that there is no issue here. Installation is the same as your daughters car and your truck.

Use your imagination, be creative. If you want it to be perfect, use that rubber peice, cut the hole, and route the wires. No biggie.

I was concerned with the master plug for the whole Light housing on the bottom. I'll try the first suggestion and put the 9006 connector through the gasket and drill a 1" Hole. Sorry guys It doesen't seem as simple as in my daughter's 02 Accord.

Well it is, but if you wanna be a perfectionist, its still simple, just takes a few extra steps. Which its all worth it in the end. Mitsubishi, I don't know why put the damn plugs inside the headlight housing. But just get a hole saw the size of that lil rubber thing on your new hid bulbs, and install.
