So before I went for a drive I made sure that my fpr was set to 44.0 psi as I have it set on ecmlink. I drove around for 20 miles come back, open the hood, and as I look at my fpr gauge I notice that its reading 10.0 psi. The nut on top of the fpr is tight. I check around and I am not leaking fuel anywhere around the gauge or the fpr itself. When I was driving the car never did anything weird to make me think that my fpr gauge was acting up. Anyone have any ideas as to why after driving my car my gauge is reading 10.0 psi without any leaking fuel?

Did you set it via ecmlink? That is the easiest way. With the engine off and the vacuum line connected, turn the fuel pump on via ecmlin under the misc tab. Then set your pressure to your desired number. However if you do it with the car running then the vacuum line need to be removed and plugged. Keep in mind that your reading will be off when the car is running with the vacuum line connected, that is normal.

alright i got the fpr set to 43.5. after doing so i logged out of ecmlink and now ecmlink will not connect. i have the latest version. i turn the key to the on position and the little green light on the cable lights up but doesnt stay lit like its receiving data. what might cause ecmlink not to connect?

Wrong/missing driver, loose wiring going to the ECU, or loose wiring going to the dataport would be the main ones. http://www.ecmtuning.com/wiki/connectionproblem?s=data%20port

does the car have to be operating temp for this?

so let me get this straight (asuming its at operating temp) turn off car, turn on fuel pump in link, pop the hood, (leaving the vaccume connected) adjust to base pressure. and then deactivate the pump in link and start the car and see if the pressure is still accurate?
