alright electircal gurus, i need your assistance. i recently switched shells i put my drive train and all of my wiring harnesses from my old running shell to my new shell. so now that the car is running i am only having a few issues.

first issue, my cluster lights and interior lights in general are on when the headlights are in the off position. and when i turn the headlights on, the interior lights go off. but the headlights and tail lights work fine.

second issue, i have no turn signals. they do not turn on in the cluster or any of the lights when i go turn them on. but, the hazards work fine and blink in the cluster and on the lights outside.

i am honestly not an electrical person in any way as you can tell and i could really use some help. i appreciate any and all opinions and suggestions and thanks in advance.

are both shells 2g?

Were both 2ga's or 2gb's , or did you mix and match?

I know 2ga's coulomb switch setup is different than a 2gb's.

You say the tail lights work. Is that for example only when you step on the brake?

How I'm reading it is while the headlights are on you have no lights , other than the heads lights on.
And when you put your fot on the brake, they work, but only the "bright portion" they dim acts with the side markers, ect. Right?

Check out hte tail light relay, and the no. 5 dedicated fuse. Does the relay cycle on when you turn the head lights off? And then back off when their turned off?

And if you pull dedicated fuse no. 5, or fusible 5, what happens? check for power, on and off, plugged in and no. How does each way affect the situation

Check grounds 1(p/s resivour area), 5(under the dash, by the center duct),& 6( below the rear hatch latch.

alright, so my headlights and tail lights work as needed. they are off when in the off position and on when in the on position. they all light up as needed as well as the brakes. the only issue i have is the turn signals. they turn on when the hazards are on, but when i try to turn them on individually to make a turn, no lights turn on (in the cluster, or on either headlight or tail light). as far as the grounds go, i will definitely give that a look over as well as the relays and fusible links. i mean i personally put all of the wiring in the car and i am 99% positive everything is back in its right location and plugged in. but i will double check. thank you for the in depth diagram and description that helps a lot.

Upon further investigation, I notice there is a plug in the Column entirely for the turn signal switch. Do you remember plugging two plugs in in there?

by the column you mean the steering wheel correct? and if so, i mean i would assume i plugged them both in but it is worth checking out.

Yep, its the steering wheel column.

alright so i checked the connections on the column and they are all fine. i also checked the grounds and they are all good as well. the only thing i noticed is that the dim switch for the dash lights is not plugged in. and i cannot find the plug to plug it in. idk if that could be causing any of my issues or not.
