It was hott today and i was kinda beating on my car, but then i stopped somewhere and it wouldnt start. Figured out it was the FPR it went out. Luckily i ordered an aeromotive one 3 days ago. Then i noticed my car was leaking oil. So ifreaked out thinking all the worst things, but ghetto rigged my car and it work and sounded fine. No spun bearing noise or anything. Could it be my main seal? Is there nay way my fpr going out could make me leak oil. I would say there was a 1/20 of quart or so maybe less that leaked out.

FPR will have nothing to do with leaking oil. Where is the oil leaking from? Near the tranny? Under the turbo? By the oil filter housing...Need more information. And if your FPR is messed up the car should still start unless it isn't seeing any vacuum. Make sure that the vacuum line going from it to the intake manifold it connected and not broken. It broke on my car once and the car would drive fine for a while then just die. Need to know where the oil is leaking from though to help ya with that.

Yea sorry i didnt give you more info about where its leaking at. I cant really tell at the moment so i think im just gonna pull the engine and see whats up. I was planning on getting new pistons etc soon anywase.

Just in front of and up from where the drip is and that will give you an approximate location of the leak.
