1G Help wanted

Hello, I just bought a 1992 eagle talon with a 2.0 liter 4g63 turbo charged motor. I had to replace the head gasket and when I got done putting it back together I was able to get it to start and rev up via throttle, but my throttle response was super sluggish and it doesn't want to idle for more than a few seconds without giving it a little bit of throttle. Anyone have any recommendations to me for how to fix this issue?

You're going to have to tell us what you've checked. There are 100 reasons. First thing I would verify is you got the mechanical timing set correctly. 2nd are all the charge pipes connected and leak free.
