Hello all, here i am again with some trouble.

'89 Laser turbo fwd.

I had my head my timing belt teeth ripped off and so the head rebuilt.
I've got new exhaust valves, springs, seals, gaskets.
But also new camshafts... MD376211 (inlet) and MD376213 (exhaust).

I've built everything back up and now the car wont start.
Turns over, timing belt is correct.

White smoke comes out of the air filter!
Timing is way off and the CAS is to its limits and its about 15 BTDC i guess.
I've checked if the CAS isn't 180* around but its not.
Also the spark plugs are oily if if i take them out.

HELP?
Can this be, because of the wrong camshafts?
Or should i check for something else?

Did you torque the head down in the proper sequence and to the proper specs?? When you did timing belt after installing did you wait to ensure the hydraulic adjuster was set correctly?? How did you do the timing job, with the special tools or without? How is there white smoke coming from the airfilter?? Is your turbo cracked? Did you spill alot of coolant and oil on the motor?? I have a feeling its your timing and you didn't install the new cams correctly!

At this moment I checked the timing belt like 10 times. Every mark lines up perfect.
Yes i turned it 6 times and lined up perfect every time.
Hydraulic adjuster is according to manual. And the head is done by the correct sequence and torque.
Without the tool, cause i don't have it. But if the hydraulic adjuster is good, then the tension would be good to wright?

My biggest worries are the camshafts.
The guy selling them said they fit the 6 bolt engine.

Now it turns out they are from 2000 and up. And that would mean the turn engine!
Could this be the problem? I don't know if they are supposed to turn the other side around or not.?

I didn't rebuild the head myself and i don't know if the company who did know if they where ok to fit in it or not.

I would say that the cams are the problem if they are 3g cams. That is a completely different engine. Its not a 4g63 and it probably opens your valves at the wrong time. I'm surprised that they even bolted up
