Ignition timing way off

My timing is showing about 13* BTDC at idle on a freshly re-built 7bolt 2G. what could cause it to be so advanced? and how can I fix it? thanks

are u sure u got the timing rite on the motor with the cams when u put it together, dosn't the engine time off the cam im not sure im new to dsms im still learning

Is the idle really high or is it right on?

idle bounces around a lot, from 1200 down to 400RPM. car runs ok between about 1100- 3000RPM, below it stumbles really bad, above it misses and pops like crazy. timing is 15* BTDC at idle, cam timing is dead on, checked it twice.

Did you either ground or unhook the base timing check connector (can't remember which it is you do.. i think you ground something)? The timing on teh 2g's is unadjustable because the cam and crank angle sensors are "fixed" and cannot be adjusted.
