Help, this fell off my car.

A big ring of metal fell off of my crank pulley on my 4G63. I was very concerned at first when I couldn't figure out where it came from, but after placing it on the pulley to see how it fits, I'm wondering if it even matters if it's there or not. It kinda looks like its just there for weight, and doesn't really serve any other purpose. Is it fine if I just leave it off? Or should I go get a new pulley?

Get an OEM replacement. JNZtuning has them readily available. They stay together very well =P

How is your car running as in charging and cooling without your pulley for the belts? Im assuming thats what fell off since we cant see it.
