HELP my car WONT START its in a parking lot

Well if it an't one thing its another i was at biglots and i goto start the car and nothing just a click.... click.... every time i turn the key over but it wont start The click is comeing from a black box under the radio that says Don't Drop on it it looks like a relay could that be my problem why the car wont start? I unpluged the nurtl safety swtich thinking that was it but no go.

Any ideas? its something ele i know thats not letting it start

The clicking is probably coming from the starter relay and may need replacing.

Also make sure that the positive cable going from the battery to the starter is in good condition. The same thing happened to me once. I had the same no crank and clicking from starter relay. Replaced it with no change. It turned out that the cable had completely broken under the insulation at the terminal connector. Couldn't see it but rather felt it when I bent the cable around.

yeah it has brand new battery but not sure about starter also where is the starter relay located? and battery post are new looking as well. I just bought the car a few months ago no wonder they wanted to sale it i had nothing but problems with it

HI. if your sure the charge is good and the positive cable is good and tight. A. push start the car be sure key is on car is in N jump in pop it in second. or B. take a small hammer tap the starter a few time's go start your car as normal and dont shut off.

like the last person stated tap your starter mine did the same thing about 6 months ago and it was the started

I will try push starting it first and see what happens and if its the starter i got another one i can put on it

sounds like your battery (or cables) if you're not getting any cranking at all.

otherwise, i'd check your starter.
