Ok, so I went to napa today to pick up my new wheel bearings. When i left the store and got in the car i tried to start it and it was acting wierd. I would turn the key and NOTHING would happen. No aux lights, no stereo, no started, no clicking, nothing. I turned they key maybe 15 or 20 times and then it started up and ran just fine. I drove it to the muffler shop to get an exhaust quoted, and it started just fine there twice. I drove to another muffler shop (for various reasons) and it ran fine tell i got there, normal temps, etc etc. When i turned the car off the seat belts did not slide forward. When i tried to start it again NOTHING, just like before. It has been raing here hard today but i dont think that should affect it. My guess is a loose wire on the ignition switch or something and Im gonna try to troubleshoot it tommorw but i am looking for advice here while i wait. Also, a few days ago I noticed my power locks stoped working. Yesterday, I cut the wire going to my headunit (the reason for this is kinda dumb, yea yea, im a tard.) and when i reattached it the head unit still didnt work. I doubt that has anyhting to do with it but i figured i should mention it anyways.

I searched but couldn't really find any solid answers. The alternator was replaced 3 days ago. The battery boiled a little when my old alternator went out (it was arching) but it still worked fine. Any ideas/tips for when i go back tommorow?

I was driving one day and the negative term on my battery came off and it ran ok for a while then when it died all of a sudden...I agree check the ground because it sounds like that could def be a problem...If the alternator and battery are both new the only thing I could think of would be the grounding

Just to follow up.... The postive battery terminal had some corrosion on it. When i tightend it back on the bolt got tight, but it wasnt really. The corroison just made it feel tight. I retightend it and off I went. So, just remember to test the strength of terminal contact everytime you put one back on. Just a stupid mistake on my part, glad it was something sooo simple.
