Installed MBC Today
No matter what setting, never left 14psi, which is what it hit BEFORE MBC
So, that said, i figured i'd unplug the vaccum line to the wastegate, (yes, i know that can be very dangerous, but i have an aftermarket boost gauge, and was just going to make sure it didn't pass 16psi or so...) and that still only gave me 14psi. What gives?

Car, after 4,800 leans out BAD and seems to lose all power. possibly related?
o2 drops to 0.00

new parts:
BPR6ES Gapped to .28, Coil, Wires, Fuel Filter, K&N Filter, front o2 sensor

sounds like a leaking o2 housing...cracked wastegate flapper...or a faulty wastegate it self..especially on a stock turbo you should at least spike past 14psi with no boost control

So I should just install my t-28 I have sitting here and see if that fixes it, eh?
the t-28 has a little shaft play, while my current t25 does not..

yes, stock 2g. I know what you're getting at, i know it leaks above a certian PSI, but... i can't turn it DOWN from 14psi, either! there is no reason i can't change it at ALL from 14psi, whether it be less, or more

Don't mess with your turbo for now.

My best guesses are kinda simple, but normally these things are.

If your MBC is one of those flakey Ebay ones, throw it in the trash and buy a good one.

Next triple check your install, I find when my car is shit after a mod, the problem is found at the last place I worked.

If your MBC is a quality one then I think you probably misrouted/failed to hook up/failed to cap a line.

Get rid of that lousy, plastic BOV....but you know that. Your spitting in the wind installing a MBC with that BOV.

With your level of mods there shouldn't be a reason for running lean, if it is reading zero, check your wiring.

If my MBC is hooked up wrong, how do you explain unplugging the vaccum line off the wastegate and the turbo not continually building boost? and when it's turned all the way down, it doesn't remove any boost... i'm not trying to add boost here, i'm trying to remove it... my car is running lean because it has a problem with fuel somewhere. i have made numerous posts on it, and nobody offers any explanations that help. the boost controller is a hallman, and it is properly installed.

if you are referring to the air/fuel gauge being hooked up wrong, it's not -- my car is just running lean. it reads it all properly... even the datalogger shows the o2 at 0.00@WOT above 4,500.

where did u hook up ur air/fuel gauge, theres a few different places you could hook it up, i didnt have it tapped very good once and everytime ide give it WOT it would lean out bad, a hallman mbc is very good, u could pick one up for like 60 bucks, make sure ur wastegate is still good, im thinking its ur wastage just stuck, def check that out

autometer air/fuel gauge is hooked up at ECU.... and.... i can FEEL when it leans out.. the car runs like crap! it loses all power.

and besides, datalogger is saying it's at 0.00, too.

Install a proper BOV then do a boost leak check. If you still have a problem it will show itself.

well make sure ur ecu is good, make sure it doesnt smell like hardcore fish, the caps mite have blown, my buddys car did this too but it ended being his CPS.....mite want to check that out if u have a spare laying around....
