I'm completely knew to this, so if you hint on anything I'm doing wrong, let me know.
I bought a simple mbc on some dsm website. It just has 2 nipples, with the boost crank knob. I dont have my aftermarket boost gauge on right now.
Ok, So i basically just unplugged the other end of the wastegate tube, and put it in the wastegate nipple on the controller, and did the same with the other. I made sure the controller was turned all the way to the least amount of boost it could. I drove down the street some, and i can def feel a huge boost difference. On my stock gauge without it, i hit about 7-8 lbs, with the controller, its reading 12-13? After a few minutes of driving, under the hood was extremely hot. It made me nervous, so I just took it out, and put everything the way it was.
Is this normal?
