Help fuel pump wont prime

I have had a problem with my car starting. I took it to a shop and i had them check it out and they said it was a fuel pump gone bad. i changed the pump and it worked until i got to the gas station when it died again. the fuel pump now will not prime just as it was not before i changed the pump and filter. i tested the pump with a wire from the battery to see if it even works and it works. i thought it might be the fuel pump relay so i bought a new one from the dealer and replaced that and it still will not work. can someone please help me i cannot figure out what else it could be. the car is 1999 eclipse rs. any input would be greatly appreciated.

Check the fuse. Then check out all the wiring to see if something has come loose or corroded.
