im having install problems. I alrdy cut the frame where the uicp needs to go through. but now it says to use the bolts from the fog lights to bolt it to the car. problem is i dont think theyre long enough or storng enough. i cant find a longer bolt with the same thread? what should o dio? i cant use a nut and a bolt because theres no way to get the nut inside because theres sucha big lip where those electrical wires go. i have no idea what todo now. use one of those sheet metal screws to self tap it to the frame?

snowborder714 also has a Koyo and the SSAC fmic and it fits without a problem. We cut it just like in the how-to and it fit fine. Just try to shove the fmic as far towards the passenger side as you possible can.

that's good news. thanks. btw, how much of the bottom of the intercooler should be hanging below the bottom of the radiator support?

That's up to you. How low do you want it to sit? Once you find a good spot you want it to sit at, hold your bumper up and make sure the whole bumper will be filled with the fmic. If not, keep moving the fmic up and down until you find a good spot.

This is the best picture I have of how we mounted it.

Hmm..say you get this FMIC with a lowly FP18G turbo, but later want to upgrade to an FPRed or FP3065...Can you still keep this FMIC after that kind of upgrade? I'm thinking I need to buy one of these immediately because I haven't seen one negative thing about it and the price is unbeatable. But, I don't want to get something if it limits what I can do later on.

I'd hardly call an fp18 "lowly", but the answer to your question is yes.
