ssac fmic+50 trim

It should fit ok because the kit itself is made for a "down firing" turbo. I'm not sure about the length of that elbow though.

sweet pic, thank you.Has anyone found a good way or has a pic of how they hooked it up to a t25,I really want to install this my self and not have to pay someone to do it when I switch to the 50 trim

I remember seeing these pics in the "bible" thread but if it was my turbo I wouldn't dear cut it. Maybe if you use a 90 degree coupler and get creative.

I'm not sure about using it with the T-25 but I think a couple people have done it. I don't think it would be worth it. It is deffinetly overkill for that small of a turbo and just end up hurting you. You can just follow the Tech Article for installation and be golden. The kit is missing a coupler and a t-bolt clamp or two, but you might want to replace them anyway because they are not the best quality. It would probably be better to wait until you put in the 50-trim (that is exactly what I am doing right now). :thumb:

Maybe I should wait until after the turbo goes in but,They are going to be tuning the car when they put it the 50 trim on,wont the stock side mount thats on it affect the tune they will be putting on it.I really dont want to drive an hour and a half back and pay again to get it tuned again after I put on the frount mount

I use the stock turbo with mine with the intention of upgrading to a fp3052 later but it still runs great and i would say prb better than the stock side mount and the stupid flex pipe!!! just my .02

The kit will fit, since there are many DSMers that are running downfiring turbos with the SSAC kit (including myself). Everything is a direct bolt up except the LICP (not the actual elbow, the one before it) needs to be shortened about 4". I have one of their first made kits, so I don't know if they corrected that yet or not.

As far as making the t25 work, I can't see how a J-pipe (not a 16G j pipe, a literal "j" pipe) wouldn't work out pretty well. Of course you would not use the 90* elbow they supply.

Something like that plus a hump hose connector to the FMIC LICP should work pretty well.
