Help choosing a exhaust

If you just want cheap go to a muffler shop and they can get you a 3in. Exhaust for about $200-$300. I got mine for 225 and i took a muffler of my own.

But was it mandrel bent? If not then every bend will neck down to about 2.5". I'm sure you've heard the expression, "A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link". Well an exhaust can only flow as much as its smallest diameter. In fact I bet a full 2.5" exhaust would flow better then a 3" system that necks down to 2.5" at every bend.

I like a stock cat back with a MAP tubular o2 housing, 3" down pipe and 3" cutout which necks down at the back and connects tot he stock catback. Cutout closed, nice and quiet, cutout open flows as well as an open down pipe. ;)

i have hks hi power catback. but for my car it came with a section of 2.5 to bolt up to stock downpipe so that was a fail on there part had to cut it off and weld some 3in on there. and i have a ebay down pipe, and ebay open dump o2. i love the sound and its not real loud. i kept the resonater on my car btw. well not loud till it spools up then the open dump its kinda loud
