had a quick question. why does my cam gear wobbles left and right while looking at the car from the front with the engine on? it doesn't move to much but just more then the other one. could this be a major problem that could lead to more problem?
any help would be apprciated thanks

The cam gear might be loose, or defective. Trying loosening the nut (requires you to take off the valve cover) and re-tightening the bolt. I think it takes some major torque to tighten it (80-90 ft-lbs, not sure, check haynes or chilton) so you better have a torque wrench handy.

buy the haynes manual. All you have to do is remove the valve cover. Get a wrench and place in on the camshaft in question (there is a hexogonal nut built into the camshaft so you can hold it steady) and take a second wrench and place it on the nut that is holding the cam gear. Push on the wrench that is connected to the nut on the cam gear (push left to loosen). To finish everything, just do everything I said in opposite order, but make sure it is REALLY tight (buy a torque wrench).

Be warned: the camshaft nut is around 22mm or larger, I can't remember exactly. If you don't have wrenches this big, get some before you take off the valve cover if your car is your only mode of transportation.

The nut on the camshaft sprocket is 17mm.
