HELP buying a dsm

This car supposedly has a calsonic fmic and an hks ssqv that is not being recirculated i see the hard pipes to the ic where would the bov be im confused isnt that hose on the intake pipe the recirc hose ???? I was also wondering what is the difference between a wastegate and a bov

Oh so a waste gate diverts exhaust around the turbine so it wont create more boost and a BOV gets rid of exess boost when you let of the throttle if this car really has a hks ssqv wouldnt it be visible in this photo on one of the ic pipes

no because lately people have been running the further down the uicp, why i don't know maybe the venting is increased when its near the road and makes it sound cooler i don't know. In the picture though something is definitely getting recirculated cause it has the hose and if you weren't recirculating normal people would rip it off. They also make recirculating kits for those BOV's i seen them before. Bov vents extra boost that have been built and a wastegate gets ride of built of exhaust pretty much.Any other questions throw them at us we are tough dsm's we can take em
