HELP! Broken injector insulator?? Wont fit on FIC 650s

I got my stock 450s out today and they came out of the fuel rail fine but I noticed there where no seals on the lower part of them. I looked on the head and all four where still in there. The FIC 650s wouldnt fit in the insulators so I tried to take one out (breaking it). Looking at it it was like plastic not rubber and wouldnt not fit around the horn-shaped end of the 650cc injector. My question is where could I get new seals and are they made for this horn-shaped injector?? Thanks Im stuck walking for now.

They were probably dried out. I would hit the dealer for them. Probably 1.50 at most and most likly they can have them next day, unless you get in there when they open.

so the stock injector insulator will work and fit for my fic 650's??

P.s Im not getting smart, but all I did was search and I found that info. Also I believe, since he actually has an account here they will most likly use stock injector seals. Then again Im sure FIC makes injectors for a wide variety of vehicle and you may have gotten a different application, THEN AGAIN ( haha ) If your stock injector clips work, they should also work on your other stock variables. - Goodluck

I thought i would throw my two cents in. When you change your injector o-rings/insulators its always recommended to change all 8 of them top and bottom. It cost me 4.58 cents exactly for me to replace all 8 of my o-rings/insulators.

the injectors came with new top o-rings but no bottom insulators, I read a thread about some o-rings found in home depot might work, might give it a shot tomarrow. If worse comes to worse itll get me around till ones come from mitsubishi.

FIC Injectors come with Viton upper and lower seals. You remove the 4 stock black ones that were left in the head and drop the FIC's in. Throw away the old black seals or save them if you ever plan on putting the car back to stock.
