broken pintle cap on injector

so napa auto parts is at it again it looks like they gave me the wrong size pintle cap does anyone know if this size will not work.. and if it wont work do you know where i could buy one that is the right size? i have a picture the big one is the one napa gave me and the broken one came off does it look like too big of a size difference? it does to me

why i would suggest maybe cutting it to fit but that would be wrong?

That looks like the correct pintle cap for a 1g injector.

its nearly twice as long as all the other ones does it not matter?

the one thats on it is the new one from napa and the old one is about half the size there is a better view here

Post a pic of the injectors with the good caps on them. It might my computer stretching the image weird, but from the looks of it that is the stock pintle cap. If that one doesn't work out for you than you can buy a kit from this site for like 20 bucks. Top Feed Kits - Mr Injector Parts . I've had really good luck with these kits and fitment.

okay the one on top is one of the good ones and the bottom one has one of the caps from napa the wayyy long one

Yeah that is definitely not right. The first picture made it look shorter.

they gave you a Non turbo injector pintle cap just ask for a evo 8/9 pintle cap thats what im using they work great
