Pintle cap fell in injector hole

I managed to break the pinle cap off the injector and it fell down in the hole. i cant seem to get hold of it or see it...not sure what to do at this point. should i pull ihe intake manifold?

Motor will chew it up, no worries. Yeah you have to pull the intake now. Sorry.

Try to use a shop vac to suck it out maybe thru the throttle body.

Take the spark plug out of the cylinder of the injector, duct tape in a vinyl tube into the end of the shop vac and lower it down, get a somewhat flexible line so you can kind of rotate it to sweep the entire cylinder wall.

It would help to empty out the shop vac before hand so you can make sure that you got it out.

If you think you got it in the vac just turn it off and open the vac up and look. Also unless the valve is open it won't be in the cylinder. I would say its in the intake runner or near the top of the valve.

well no luck i tried all three ways and i found noting in the vac. so my next option is pull the intake manifold correct?

Intake manifold isnt hard to remove. Get after it.

Ya don't risk it, pull the intake and clean it out good.

I think you should have just sucked alittle longer with the vac... i once knew a girl who could fix that for you.

before i started taking it off i tried a longer hose and i still came up with nothing, but you should send her my way! and taking this manifold is no easy task....how in the world do i get the bottom bolts out??

Ratchet wrenches & hold your tonge out to the right

You can get your arm under the intake manifold on the timing belt side I stick my whole arm down then start wrenching
