Winnipeg,
Well about 6 months ago my b-belt decided to grind off all its teeth and throw the whole engine into a shake. It didn't snap so im ok but I have just gotten a chance to fix it this week. I finished the job (new timing and balance everything) and fired it up it was smooth. I went to drive it and give a little boost to my new 20g and it still shook alot.

Its almost as bad as when i was driving it with the b-belt removed (I needed a bunch of work done before i could fix the b-belt and needed to drive it). The boost gauge vibrates so bad the needle is unreadable but only when boosting more than 5 psi.

So I just whent to make sure the b-shafts where ok and my timing marks are still all good along with the front shaft and the rear one is not out 360 (screw driver went in farther than 3 inches in freeze plug)

What could be causing this? I have recently installed my turbo with mani, o2 and intake but I dont know how this could cause this. Also my mani came with a hole drilled in the number 1 and i only have a bolt pluging it. It leaks a bit, not that much but it does leak could that cause the vibrating i am getting?

Please someone help. I gotta get something out of this car that has takin so much from me

Could the small crack in the exaust mani be causing this?

Since all the timing marks line up and the oil sproket is correct I should be ok to bolt the cover and pully's back on right? Chances are it's unrelated?

I did take a quick look at them before and they looked good to me but i will check again. Is it pretty obvious when there bad? Basically if they look good there good right?

the timing belt side motor mount has some rips and cracks in it but is overall together. from what I could see of the others ones they look good

Also my drivers side cv boot is torn. I noticed it the same time i pulled my shredded b-belt out. It was pretty new and it looked like something cut it because there was a clean rip and big splatter of grease on my oil pan. could that be the cause?

well I guess I will go ahead and put the belt and cover back on and wait for some help

Well I just went for a ride paying more attention to when its shaking. At idle it vibrates a bit, if I rev it up it gets smooth. When driving its fine without boost till about 4-4500 rpm than it sputters and breaks up. It shakes bad under boost. I also got a chirping belt the whole time the engine is running that gets louder when accelerating. All the belts are tight to.

I replaced the plugs with no change. I think the exaust mani leak is the cause of the sputtering at 4500, I will go for another cruise with my logger to see the fuel trims and o2 to confirm.
