:|I'm in need of dire help...i thought i'd ask you's for help. My car is becoming a nightmare. I'm gonna list all the problems with my car.

1. Running rich as hell. Fuel pressure is good. I hear the pump come on blah blah.

2. Bogging upon throttle. When the car warms up it will stall whenever i let off the gas or between shifts.

3. Now DSMLink can't connect with my ECU.

4. TPS is stuck at 33% on link. Won't allow me to adjust it.

5. Coolant temp goes up to 280 on link...my stock gauge reads fine.

7. When idling...we used a scantool to read the MAF. No sign oh Hz's. GM-MAFT

6. The weirdest. Whenever i crank my car the stock boost gauge goes up between 7&14lbs.

I've done everything i could besides buy a new ecu. I've tried a different one but it wasn't eprom. Still no start. What the #### would cause all this? Compressions good and so is timing. I'll be in debt to the one who could pull me out of this hole.

What is all done to the car? Could you possibly throw in a stock ECU, stock MAF and such and thus rule out any wiring issues with and/or faulty aftermarket add-ons?

The way multiple gauges and systems are being affected seems to point to something ECU related or perhaps something screwy with the car's wiring. Check your harness for corrosion, esp. around the areas where it as been cut to add in the MAF-T and anything else aftermarket.

This sounds ECU related.

This is what i thought 10 seconds into reading the post. If the car was running good then the ecu starts giving weird readings and stuff soon followed by not even connecting to link. ECU.
Pull it out and look/ smell for leaky caps. If it smells like burning seafood then the ecu is bad.. If it looks like there is ANY corrosion then the ecu is bad..

Are you sure you have a valid version of DSMLINK?

I just put a motor in a shell that has ecu still in it. Was told it was good but when i tried to start my car it acted like the timing was off or something. When i would pull my maf sensor it would run better. So i finally pulled the ecu out and sure enough i got sold a lemon . So check that ecu because it will tho codes and have u on a wild goose hunt for ever.

So you swapped in another ecu and all was well? I messaged another kid on here and he's driving around with his maf unplugged LOL...I'm not trying to do that

Update:

Are these wires seriously my maf resistor and barometric pressure? Found them cut and kinda tucked under the main harness in the left corner of my firewall, slightly under the wiper motor. Is the resistor some sort of ground?

This is my MAF harness. Everything seems there? Help?

. Helpppppp bumpppppp!!!? No one knows?

ECU update: Blown sensor ground and isc driver being replaced. Now what can i do to avoid this shit happening again? I need advice badly.

Also i may go speed density. But i'm not tapping into my new SMIM. Any alternatives?!

Blown ISC drivers - make sure you have a tested, working ISC
Blown sensor ground - make sure your wiring around the MAF and front o2 sensor are correct and proper (i.e. don't ground out the front o2), as these seem to be the two common culprits of blowing it, or don't let your car run with a fried front o2 sensor
