what do you guys think ... i have huge crane turbo grind cams . as you can see i have alot of mods done to my car . will i gain anything if i port and polish my heads ? also should i get over bore valves ?

thanks guys

You don't have to copy mine but, my 2g head is ported for flow on the
inlet, roughed up exh & ceramic filled, ceramiced std valves, ceramiced
combustion chambers. Piston tops ceramic & teflon sides.
I was advised to do this to keep the temps down.
I argued about +1mm ss valves, but was told NO, too f'n hot.
Cheers !

"huge crane turbo grind cams" ya'lls y0, yea!. . . WTF does that mean, watya? You need to give cam card details or we cannot help you decide what the fV(K you want to do. Cams are a finicky part to add to your build. You know that, right? BTW, What the hell is your goal ;). . .

some more info would help, how huge of a crane cam? in the lift range of .705 with 320 dur @.050?? LOL

you running a 1g head? or a 2g?

proper porting will gain you lots... improper porting will make your head flow worse than stock.

Do you want mass? or velocity?

AWD_HYBRID.... I have macined some 4G63 heads for the +1mm with out issues.
too hot? how? the only reason the valves would get too hot is if the seats were not cut properly, with seats that are to narrow you do not get proper heat transfer from the valve to the seat/head casting

Maybe I shouldn't have posted too hot. What my engine builder said to me was
ceramic coated std will be cooler as compared to the ss valves.
Taking his advice only because he builds the quickest rails etc in Aus
My comp will be 9+ & early boost, so I'm trying to avoid heat by his say so.
Cheers !
