Whats Your Opinion....i Got Used Arp Headstuds....they Were On One Of My Buddy's Gst...only On The Car For Like 5000 Miles.. Would They Be Acceptable To Be Reused Or No?

Yes there reuseable,with only 5k miles on them,your safe to use them

As long as they're for a 6-bolt.

Technically, you would need to check the studs for stretching (there's a special tool I believe). If they're out of spec, then they shouldn't be used.

What Specs Do I Use And Where Can I Get This "special " Tool. And Yes They Are For A 6 Bolt

I just read someone saying you can put a straight edge up to the threads and see if the threads are evenly spaced apart. Or get the special tool

The tool is called a bolt stretch gauge.

And from some of the prices on them that I saw, you'd be better off just getting new ARP's.

When I installed my ARP's I measured each one with a micrometer and wrote down the specific location of each stud. That way, if I ever remove them I can remeasure each one and compare the result to the original length to determine if they are reusable. I don't recall what ARP designates as an acceptable amount of stretch but I have it written down somewhere.

But for the most part as long as you don't exceed the recommended torque value they can be reused.
