Ok. I'm starting to put my motor back together and can't decide on which to do. I have a 6-bolt with Wiseco Pistons on Eagle Rods and a built head. It will see a 50-trim with FMIC and probably 20 psi. I originally planned on using the head bolts but now I'm debating on spending the extra for the Head studs. So how much of a difference would it really make? Is my Cometic head gasket gonna blow under those conditions and using head bolts?:dsm:

For the extra insurance that it gives you by having the head studs its worth it to just get them.

I agree with the previous poster. It sounds like you have a lot of moneu already tied up in that motor and who wants to do a rebuild a second time. ARP head studs are they way to go. Keep an eye out in the next day or two in the vendor forums or pm me and I can give details on arp head studs. They are under $100 and I should be putting them on special wednesday or thursday.
