Head Questions

im tryin to change my head gasket on my 2g
i opend the valve gasket and took off the intake manifold/and all the stuff next to the head
and after i opend my valve there are some black HEX bolts about 6 of them
and just wonderin what size that is

There are 10 hex bolts in there not 6. Make sure when taking them out you taken them out in order and only take them out 1/4 turn at a time at first to make sure you don't warp the head but taking it off to fast. The size it takes is 12mm hex socket.
