so i put my rebuilt head back on after some valves bent. After a day or two of driving, i parked my car and heard water gushing from the bottom so i figured out where it was coming from and its from the head gasket. Sooo took off the head and there is water on top the cylinders and im guessing probably in the cylinder walls.

I want to know what i should do now? Im cleaning it all right now as best as i can. But i dont know, what can i really do?

Also after taking off the head i saw on the intake manifold there is a little bit of oil around the edges of the intake holes. wtf??? whats that all about?


And finally before the head gasket problem, the car wasnt driving right after i put it all back together. It was like when the turbo started to make boost the car kind of bogged. Its like the turbo kept boosting but the motor didnt really want to go but it felt like it wanted to. Could it been that timing was off a 1/2 - 1 tooth? Or something with fuel? because i believe one time i was giving it some gas and it felt like fuel cut. but it was only one.


I know there are a lot of questions but please try to answer them as best as possible. Thanks!
 
Yeah torqued it perfectly all in sequence. And it was a shop that re did the head..so if it was warped, wouldnt you think they wld of said something??
 
It prob has water in the cylinders from you pulling the head off. Was it smoking? Was there oil in the water or water in the oil? Was it pushing coolant out the overflow tank?
 
1: Yes,
2: They were brand new. I didnt use any lube, they could have been pre-lubed??
3: Dont know exact number, got it all from haynes manual.
4: No, I had no idea i had to. Why doesnt the reapir manual say this???? And re-torque the same way i torqued them the first time or just the 1/4 turn?

Soo when re-torquing the head bolts after i got it to operating temp.....what torque do i set it too? I mean do i do all 5 steps over or what??
