Just looking for a suggestion before I continue pulling the head. At about 6000 RPMs in 2nd (A/T) I felt a power loss and began the ole James Bond/SpyHunter smoke screen. It was at night but really looked like white smoke. Additionally the coolant overflow tank drain tube saw some action as it had sprayed some coolant. Reviewing logs later showed a few counts of knock leading up to the smoke show.
Here is what I know:
-Little oil on plug 3 when removed (still smoking a little)
-Gap closed on Plug 1 but does not appear to be from an impact.
-Drained fluids - No oil in antifreeze and vice versa - Oil level indicated full
-Dry Compression Check (cyl 1-4) 115, 130, 45, 135
-Wet Compression Check (cyl 1-4) 135, 145, 50, 155
-Removed coolant filler cap, layed a rag over the opening, the rag pulsed signifigantly with cranking (seems that compression is being lost to the cooling system.)
I will continue down the path of pulling the head tonight unless someone has another suggestion. I have a leak down tester at my disposal but I think that I have enough evidence of a blown HG. We are talking about a 4G63t with T25.
