well, Im driving home on the interstate, my oil light comes on, so I pull over on the next exit. White smoke is coming out of the exhaust, and a lot of it. I check the oil, its low, so I add a whole bunch of oil. I cant get a very good reading because the oil is blowing up the oil stick. Well, I get back on the interstate, and what do you know, the turbo wont spool. I figured I fried the turbo from not having oil.

About two miles down I hear metal on metal, sounded like rings on cylinder. I pull over immediatley, and there's no oil. I add four quarts of oil, start it up and theres tons and tons of smoke and oil dripping out the exhaust, but its firing on all four cylinders.

I shut if off and get it towed for $250 back to my house.

WTF happened? maybe my turbo oil seals went bad? Would this cause it to lose that much oil OMG

white smoke coolant/watter
blue smoke oil
black smoke fuel

you probably blew a headgasket.. and due to not shutting it off right there. filled the crankcase full of water probably seized most of the bearings overheated the motor and fuct your turbo....

well, I can start the car just fine, and it fires pretty well. Just lots of white smoke

Maybe there's coolant leaking from the turbo?
