So I have here is a video of the car running, and a video of the engine bay, and also a log off of dsmlink. I am getting plenty of knock and when I say knock I mean it. She spikes clear to the top of the log! A freind and I are thinking a timing issue, however, We are both new to dsmlink and imports for the most part so we are for the most part clueless.

I know very little about speed density, so I can't help much there.

BUT, if you look in your DTC's tab, you'll see you knock sensor is malfunctioning. :D

OMGWWhhaattt! where on link is that info?

The ECU Configure section (Fuel sliders, MAF Comp, etc) has a tab called DTC's. Link stores your DTC's so you don't have that pesky CEL for things you don't care about. Click the DTC tab and it will show all of your trouble codes. Yours say Knock Sensor Circuit Malfunction.

did your surge issues start before or after going to SD?

if after there are a few things to check.

also from the first vid i can see that your car is running so rich that its above the 22:1 ratio.

ensure that your injector settings match your injectors/fuel

No the idle surge has been a endless battle since day one. I've replaced the tps, isc, and even had my ecu swapped out because we thought they may be the problem, however so far no luck in fixing that.

And when you say it reads 22:1 ratio I'm guessing you got that from when the gauge flat lines? And I always thought that would be a sign of a lean mixture? 22lbs of air to 1lb of fuel?

As for the injector size is correct, however how do you know or where do you go to adjust fuel pump size or pressure?

just looked at log, its phantom knock you got it when you werent even on the throttle, do you have anything in your bay that could be making loud noises. oh wait nevermind yeah your knock sensor is screwed.

i dont see an IAT OR MAP logged in the ECU side of things how are you running SD?

Your correct. 22:1 is super lean, that guy doesn't know what he is talking about, you probably need to calibrate your WB. There are videos on youtube about how to do that.

How come i can't see in your ECU pin out anything logged for WB or MAP or IAT?? its not in your displayed values either, you cant possibly be running SD without those things set up. although your VE table tab says its set up, but your ECU pinout side says nothing is set up.. kinda odd if you ask me. set your MDP assignment as your MAP and your IAT to your baro.

I'm running the ecmtunning SD cable, however, I'm still learning the program abd still haven't learned how to add things to be captured such as my aem wideband and IAT or anything to be logged.

the SD cable means nothing unless you have your PIN assignments in your ECU tab filled out for where your sensors are located. thats prob why your runnin like ass.
