Hi guys this is my first post on here. So im not sure if this is where im supposta post this cause im a newb, if im doing something wrong please let me know cause, i really like this site thanks. Well anyways im having some issues with my car that some buddies and I cant figure out. I have looked all over and done alot of reasearch but just looking for advice. Anyways the whole story is in the beggining my balance shaft belt went ended up, replacing the cylinder head because bent valves I bought a used head of a guy I know I didnt have alot of money but i replaced it and would run after that but not good then my harmonic balancer had seperated into two peices. So i got a junk yard one and re timed it my buddy did the timing hes a veteran dsmer i trust his work. That was just to give you some background on what i have replaced and done o yeah and my ecu took a shit got the capacitors replaced ended up buying another of a kid well the car has a misfire and i seems to be running rich. At idle it mis fires a lil but not real bad no load it will run but nowhere near good. When i drive it it spits and sputters up to about 2800 and as soon as boost hits just backfires spits and dont really go anywhere. So i have checked the 02 sensor coils and maf with a voltmeter. No boost leaks wastegate seems to be fine new plugs new wires buying ngk wires or msd soon. putting on a egr block off plate soon. Hooked up a fuel preesure gauge to fuel filter and thats good under vac and no vac. I just looked up and this is long so let me know what to look at or your insite please help dsmer down I am not the most smartest about cars but have decent knowlage so thanks for reading.
