Haven't found a solution. Idle Issue

I've searched a fair amount and I can't find a solution, or a problem that's quite the same. When I first start car (1990 laser with 166k) it idles low and occasionally stalls but when it get's warmed up it idles at about 2k. I checked my throttle body and it's pretty much completely clean. I thought maybe the MAF but I don't want to replace it unless I have to. Any ideas.

Search the site again and search for BLISS adjustment. I'm thinking that this could be out of tune. It's just a lil screww that you adjust. DO NOT LOSE THE O-RING IN THERE! Pain in the chicken if you loose it. I've lost it before. Hope this helps you.

The Biss O-ring could also be leaking. Check for vacuum leaks around the intake manifold, throttle body and injectors.

Awesome, thanx. I tried adjusting the screw when I first noticed the problem but I never considered checking the o-ring.

I had a problem with my 2g like this, when it got hot it would rev to 2k or higher. I replaced the BISS screw, replaced the ICS and made sure that there were no boost leaks. I even went as far as using ice to cool each sensors on the car!

I figured out that my throttle plate was covered in carbon, I also found out (by leaning on it) that my throttle cable was to tight, so when the car warmed up it pulled the cable too tight.
