Is this supposed to be set up for external gate? Cause have you seen the WG hole..

Why not just spend the money and get a quality turbo..Most ebay turbo's last about 500 miles..Unless you get a 1 in ten good one..

I'm pretty sure it for an external gate.

I want a MHI evo3 16G, I was just lurking and came across this and thought that maybe it was a good alternative. I was just wondering if anyone had personal experience with it. I know the eBay ones don't last long and I would have never considered buying one until I came across this. I was thinking that if you bought the eBay turbo and rebuilt it right away(link) it could possibly be a $380 reliable 50trim.

The last sub-$100 turbo I received at the shop was quite a piece....the compressor wheel wasn't even round. By that I mean when you'd spin it and watch the fins, they would wave in and out.

You get what you pay for.

You can never make one of these turbos good...all of the castings are sub-par. The wheels aren't round, the internals are garbage- they're basically cast from old brake rotors and aluminum cans.

Buy the real deal or spend money now to end up spending more later when you have to buy the real deal anyway.
It makes me feel like I'm wasting space on the forum since I can't delete my own thread.

Thanks for the reply I understand what you're saying and How? I don't see it in thread tools or anywhere? I've tried before with no success.
