Has anyone had experience with DSM Graveyard?

Has anyone had any experience with DSMGraveyard engines? I bought a used 1997 GSX and the engine looks like a mess. Its got 150k on it already and its leaking oil from a head gasket, the lifters are shot, etc. I'm looking to get a rebuilt performance motor I can drop into it since I really don't have time to rebuild this engine. I saw that DSM Graveyard has from stock to Stage 5 pre-built crate motors. Does anyone know if these are worth the price they are asking?

Then what stage should I go with for about 400whp? I was thinking a stage 3 since I liked forged things more than billet alum things for durablity. But if others have more wiser opinions I'd really appreciate it.

Seriously, search for ten minutes and if you haven't read enough horror stories to stay away from them, then I don't know what to tell ya. Countless issues with orders over the years, no longer a supporting vendor, loooong wait times for parts, and general problems with past work. Invest your hard earned cash wisely there are several very experienced builders tha charge reasonable amounts to create top of the line performance engines that are supporting vendors and have much, much better reputations!

The recommended builder list is pretty big so you just have to take your pick. I am not sure of their locations so if you want to find one close to you then some further research is in order, but you'll probably be shipping your stuff out regardless for any of the majors to take care of you. Depending on how wild you want to get different shops will probably suit you better than others. They can all do whatever you want from a basic 2.0 to a destroked 2.2l road course monster but some specialize in the exotics and charge accordingly so if you are on a budget take that into account and go with one of the mainstream shops that do a ton of motors cause their pricing will most likely be more competitive for what you want.

As far as just a quick list of names for you to check out and in no particular order: Jackson Auto Machine (JAM), Buschur Racing, Force Engineering, Strictly Modified, Street Tuned Motorsports (more of a retailer but they have a sweet shop as well), English Racing, Boostin Performance, Strictly Import Motorsports, Magnus Racing (maybe Magnus Motorsports not 100% what they officially are called now ), and Jacks Transmissions actually does some really sweet motor builds as well as tranny's so possibly a one stop shop if you need that built too. I don't remember where on the site it is since the "upgrade" but you can poke around and find the "supporting vendors" list which means they have paid to advertise on the site and are approved by the moderators. You can trust that any of these guys will take care of you and should provide a good experience, but as always do your own homework and call them in person on the phone to discuss your plans so you are 100% confident your needs will be met. Mentioning Graveyard right off the bat suggests that you are not a fan of searching and doing your due diligence which is a great way to end up spending thousands of dollars to be unhappy! Thank you for your reply. I ran into DSM Graveyard randomly and saw they had motors. But I came to you guys for guidance since I am new to the DSM scene. Buschur racing short blocks all the way. Sim is good vendor to though. Bushurs blocks have seen over 900hp depending on options you choose. Im in the process of preparing the assembly of my buschur bottom end. Customer service was great machine work looks beautiful block is very clean and rotating assembly looks very quality give buschur a call and talk to them about your goals. They are very knolagble and can set you up with a nasty motor[DOUBLEPOST=1411482548][/DOUBLEPOST]And just some more info for you our stock bottom ends have seen 450hp all day with a good head gasket and arp studs the 4g63 is a very capable engine

+1 on this. i have a buddy who ordered originally from dsm graveyard before he was told they are way at the bottom of the worst totem pole. Honestly, avoid dsm graveyard at all cost. they don't deliver on time, dont keep their promises, and have the worst customer service ever.
