Has anybody else had this happen to their SBR tubular exhaust manifold?

Maybe you should show them this thread! I would! I would not do it to spite SBR, but I would do it to show how being rude to even one customer grows exponentially. I have not had any issues with SBR, but if I did you better believe I will probally be mad as hell and want someone to make it right.
 
Wow, quite a response from Mike, but maybe you should show us the email that was sent to him. Maybe you came off a bit... assumptious? (is that a word?)

As a customer that spent a few hundred on a manifold, I would be a bit "assumptious" too. For them to even respond in a letter like that is very unprofessional. What a joke, maybe you'll get a free t-shirt outta the deal.
 
Mike Huml has always been known for speaking off the cuff. You can spend 10,000 and he will still talk to you this way. Thats just their style, not good or bad, just gives the good straight. It's good most the time cause you don't get a song and dance but not good when your complainin... At any rate, just shoot him back an email apologize because you didn't know they were closed nobody expect somebody to work over Christmas and see what he can do.

Your asking for help on something so starting off by pissin in the guys corn flakes doesn't help regardless of how RIGHT or how much of a CUSTOMER you are. I have kicked guys outta the shop who spend money with us just beause they have a shit attitude beause we don't wanna deal with it.

Well, a lot can happen during the delivery of an email. Maybe they never even got them. Maybe they were having email problems. Etc etc. So to send an email that possibly said "I dont appreciate being ignored" or whatever it said (that is why I wanted to see his email to them) is just not going to help things along.

Personally, if I hadn't received an email response, I would have just called. Telephone works wonders, not to mention it is a LOT easier to tell a person's tone via voice rather than text.

Just my $0.02. I use Slowboy a lot and unless I knew the full story, this wouldn't stray me otherwise.
 
This is a hallmark SBR situation. Stories like this ring over and over again at dsmtalk. When I bought a blown turbo from them, all I got from Cragger was how much he liked the 50trim.

Customers are already feeling terrible about their situations and here comes Huml with his shit. What an insult to injury. Why anyone bothers with SBR anymore is beyond me.
