So, just finished the motor build on my 1g, just a fiarly stock motor, some minor upgrades.
Its sat for about 7 months ,and over witner. I have to spend abouit 5 mins+ crankign to get it to start (not constant of course). I know im getting fuel/spark because it does eventually start, and it smeels of gas in the engine bay.
Is this most likely caused from bad/old gas? Once running, i can park it, and get in an hour later and it starts up perfectly.
Other problem, is it split an oil filter at the seam. assuming its relief valve is stuck open in my filter housing. To replace this, i can jsut take off the crank pulley, and lift up the timing cover, correct?
