hard to shift gears

put a spec pressure plate and clutch and the extended slave cylinder rod on my car and its hard to shift and go in gear. shifted fine with stock stuff.

did you adjust the clutch?

this page has some info... about 3/4 ways down.. on how to do it. I know the 1g's linkage is known t wear out due to age, as well.

which way should i turn the nut to adjust. right now you got put the clutch pedal threw the floor it seems like to shift

I guess I could've posted a better link. I don't know to much about the 1g cars on how to do this... but it does sound like you just need to adjust it. I found this, maybe it will help. Second post.
