i can still fill pressure in the pedal

Pull back the rubber boot on the slave to see if its leaking fluid.

Most likely the master rod is not adjusted properly.

You might also trace the hardlines back to the master cylinder to see if they may have rusted through. After 22 years, its a possibility.

there is no leak there there is SOME SWEAT IN THE MASTER RUBBER COVER ONTHER THE STEERING WHEEL

THE RUBBER COVER IS COVERD WHIT LIQUID INSIDE
