Mine was the same way when I got it yes you need a recirculating bov an intake with a recirc on it a hose that goes from bov to intake and two clamps to clamp the hose. You are losing metered air causing the car to think its getting more air then it actually is so it will add more fuel. Look at your plugs they are probably either wet or pretty covered in black you will love the difference when you fix that the car is a lot happier. Some people just want the pshhhh sound so they vent the bov to the atmosphere but if your running the stock airflow sensor you need to be recirculated. Personally I would do what he said and see if anyone wants to swap hardpipes for a recirc and then I would just get a 1gbov

Post # 25..A tig weld shop should be able to weld on an outlet, and an inlet on the intake pipe.If you want to replace nothing.

So far im acquiring a 2G MAF with Dejon intake tube from a guy off craigs tomorrow

So im on a tight budget here and I dont have the money to take it to a shop so my best bet is to replace them so far i got a hold of my hands off a recirculated intake and a 1g bov am i set?

Well you dont have to get a 1g bov they just hold more boost then the stock 2g and I could never get my ebay knock off bov to work right but my uncle got his to. If you get that intake then you just have to find a way to connect that hose to the bov. Have you checked your plugs yet?

Ebay sells a kit to recirc that bov, it just comes with the flange that screws in place of the "bell" you have on it already.

Here ya go, sorry, it won't let me copy the link on the app so here is the screenshot. Just type in "greddy rs recirc" and this comes up

@Breezio69 Oh okay cool man i think i might just save $60!

@shifty2006 Yeah man from the cover top you can see its wet so i opened it and there was bunch of oil sitting on the bottom and cleaned that up. :/

Just now i did a wot and as i was slowing down the car died on me at the spot!

Haha, if you have read the thread at all, you'll realize that will happen or should happen every time you let off the throttle from wot.

Your best bet is to try and not drive it like a pissed off teenager until you get the right parts installed. Next it will be the starter that goes out because you have to restart it 15 times a drive :thumb:

I couldn't resist man LOL ive been driving it so slow and just pumped gas lesson learned haha, Should i still get that recirculated intake tube im not sure if it would fit because it looks like the tube is at the end of the intake :/

Ok, you need that intake, which I'm assuming you do own it. And yes, you need the recirc fitting that I posted. Get it, flip the bov around on the flange and recirc it.

Other than that, you can buy a gm maf and a maft... for around $300 and you can keep it blowing into the atmosphere. Your choice.

Thats actually a 1g intake pipe..The 2g pipe has the recirc part more torwards the mas itself..Fitment should still be spot on, but youll need a custom recirc tube..Which basically means an old vaccume hose, vut it and use some clamps..Dont get the stupid dress up hose from the auto parts store that looks like tinfoil..Because Boost put a big ole hole in that real damm quick.

Hey guys so i just got my recirc adapter and it fit on spot on now the only problem is i have two hoses that go in to my old injen intake and the new dejon intake i have only has one port on the side, What can i do?

Could i use a T?

I used a T to connect the two lines so i got my bov recirculated now, now today i test drove it and it feels like its more boost and i could still hear the noise my bov makes i thought it would delete that from the recirculation but the car does drive more smooth but im still getting the harsh shifts but my car is no longer wanting to stall well it feels like it but it hasnt so far.. now just 15mins ago on the way home it started to not accelerate like it would go 1-2k stop 2-3k stop while accelerating got in the driveway and revd it and it wouldnt go past 4k and it was almost like wanting to two step but after that it went all the way down to 100 rpm and Engine died on me, the car is very hot right now and im hearing some noises off maybe the recirculation pipe or somewhere around the turbo ..
