Hard Time Shifting

So i finally got my clutch replaced and now its a pain to shift. Like it'll go in but I feel like I'm forcing it or it takes a lot of work to shift. My GF's dad is a mechanic and did the work for me. I may add the clutch was an RPS stage 2 under 10k used though everything looked fine but now its hard to shift. I was thinking it needed breaking in or possibly the clutch fluid

You might need to adjust the clutch pedal. You will need to turn the rod in the master cylinder counterclock-wise to "pull" it out.
