hard SHIFTING tranny

Let me try to explain this the best I can!

-When I go from neutrel to first, it sometimes grinds (usually hard to get into gear)
-When I go from neurel to second to first, it's less likely to grind
-After cruising around in fifth for a while, it's extremely hard to get it into any gear
-Car is less likely to put up a fight if I jam it into gear fairly hard

i am also getting a whinning noise, dont know if it the tranny.
guessing low fluid? havnt yet checked but when i have i get around to it i will.

CAR ALSO has a short shift kit. (didnt install myself )

hmmm,

if you rev the car to 7k while in 1st, with the clutch depressed does the car stay still or creep forward a little?

if it is creeping forward then your clutch is dragging, and not fully disengaging

Havnt yet checked that, but i defiantly will. If this is the problem how do i fix it?

i am having a similar problem but i was going to try using sincroshift fluid first.
