psychlow said:Since 2G guys have had DSMLink for the last decade or so (exaggeration), most of the info you're going to find is concerning 1Gs.
Since 1G DSMLink is now out, I forsee this thread meeting its demise soon as well.
psychlow said:All good points. That's what I was hoping for when I had originally started this post as well.
Personally, what I'd like to see is a DSM-specific ECU that allows modifications via a serial or USB connection for a reasonable price.
Sadly, I don't think that'll ever happen.
LightningGSX said:Don't ask for details yet, but its actually rather close to happening.USB and reasonably priced.
Also, a while back I whipped this up to allow me to edit the 1g eproms in realtime(just like the DSMlink), My original intent was to sell it, but since I don't have the time to support it, I will soon be posting the schematics and software free of charge. Its extremely simple, and total parts are around $50.If time allows, I can add some more features to it as well.

www.ustr.net Got mine off ebay a long time ago for like 45 bux... used it on my 3rd gen camaro before it died...studio said:ya, http://users.wpi.edu/~ktarry/dsmromedit.html has the code also.
this is what i *might* do.
and who makes a 28pin chip burner for 60? cheapest i found was for 150 and were about to but it.
only thing i dont link about the burning a chip is its time consuming and not wouldnt exactly "on the run" tuning like dsmlink is.
What makes you say that?TargeT said:kind of a nul point due to 1g DSMlink being out eh?

I agree, their support is excellent (I own DSMLink for my 2g).TargeT said:I guess Im just a fanboi, the support from the DSMlink guys & the product its self SEEMS TO ME to have no parallel, read the features you get with 1g DSM link, its like 5 or 6 products in one, not to mention the fact that if your clueless you can get tuning help by posting your logs..
