Guage or Something Else?????

Ok I got a 92 Laser Turbo AWD it has a hacked airbox and aftermarket valvtrain. My A/F Ratio guauge just randomly quit fluxuateing like it did and it takes a half hour to get the gauge to read perfect then doesnt even really move at all? Just wondering if this is normal and if not what could be wrong????

it should continuously bounce back and fourth as the car adjusts fuel... might be a bad senser.... try it in another car if you can.
