GSX = Failed Emissions

Took my 95 gsx in for emissions today and it failed miserably on HC PPM & CO %.
There is no cel or anything wrong with the car besides a small exhaust leak behind the cat converter. I just put new plugs, changed oil, fresh 93 octane gas and i even purchased the " crc guaranteed to pass " And even added 4oz of acetone to the tank to help combustion. My question is, Where do i start checking?

HC PPM @ 2500RPM = 286, ALLOWED = 220. @ IDLE = 2319 . RESULT = FAIL.

CO % 2.44 @ 2500 RPM, ALLOWED = 1.20. @ IDLE = 4.95. RESULT = FAIL.
Seems like its running very rich at idle compared to 2500rpm. O2 sensor maybe ?Thanks

Where is the egr located? could a pcv valve be bad? i just used seafoam thru the vaccum hose and cleaned out the motor. o2 sensors, can they be cleaned?

Sometimes seafoam will throw off o2's if you did this recently. Also your egr is under the throttle body looking from the passenger side, it's down towrds the bottom of the intake mani and close to the firewall.

Have you checked for vaccum and boost leaks?

I live in a state that doesn't require the test but adding all those chemicals seems to me that it has alot to do with your readings. maybe you would have passed by not adding all those things, just my opinion.

Egr valve was pretty gunked up. I soaked it in cleaner and wire brushed the ports and its smooth now. Could the seafosm cause the o2 to clog? it says o2 safe. can you clean a o2 sensor? No boost leaks. Holding steady at 12psi no vaccum leaks either.

UPDATE: Theres a tick tick sound coming from cyl 1. When i unplug the injector off cyl 1 the noise goes away and the rpm drols a lil bit. could that be my problem.?

Get this, the catalytic converter was toast. it was pretty much a test pipe.

UPDATE*****

Today as of 10-25-2012 i went in for emissions testing again. The last place i went to said that i failed because my o2 sensor was bad, But i had no CEL. So after i got home i took it off and tried cleaning it to see if that would help, But after i plugged it back up the CEL now came on so i think i killed it. But anyways, I checked the cat converter and it was toast, So i installed a new Cat and thought it would pass , Now the readings are 2x as worse, WITH a NEW catalytic converter!

Would the o2 sensor being bad cause the computer to really mess up on fuel ??

The fuel injector on cylinder 3, meaning left to right 4321, Seems to have a problem. When i disconnect the harness to that injector, the engine actually sounds to run better? Any other injector i disconnect makes the motor almost die. I swapped the harness from cylinder 4 to 3, and nothing happened, So its getting a signal. Think it could be the fuel injector is sticky causing excess fuel to be dumped, or not enough making the car run rich ? ???
