GST runs slow when warmed up

Hi guys..
have an issue yet again with my 2g gst. when i start the car and take it out when the engine is cold, it boosts like crazy, and even spins the wheels when it starts boosting at 2500+ rpm. but in about a minute, after the temp rises to normal, it gets slog. not really sluggish, just slower than before. and the wheels wont spin no matter what i do. WOT or not... also, when its cold and i start driving, i can feel it changing gears... but when warm, i cant feel it changing any gears at all... not that its not shifting. im sure it is. because ive rin ut from 0 to about 130 kmph and not blown the engine. .. which im sure i would do if the damn thing was not shifting... ive been working almost every night after work on this car since i got it about a month ago. my wife hates and me as well!
also, to give you an idea of how slow this thing is, my wife driving my 2009 lancer GT beat me yesterday. me driving my funky turbo eclipse! felt like shit! my wife drives like a freakin nascar driver, but thats besides the point. the DSM Should have owned the lancer. but it didnt.... anyway, my issue right now is the being slow when warm thing. Please help guys... thanks in advance.
by the way, car is stock. ive changed all the fluids, and plugs after i bought it. changed the air cleaner, cleaned up the SMIC. checked for boost leaks, and removed the BCS restrictor. thats pretty much it. Thanks......

Hi guys.. need help with a branch new issue. i realised that its not about being warm or cold. the car shifts up, upto 3rd but doesnt shift back down. it only shifts down when i switch the engine off. spins wheels all the way upto 3rd at gear changes and then stays at 3rd. any ideas? please guys. this dsm is driving me crazy now.

What fluid did you use for the transmission?
And how much fluid did you put in?

I'm not sure exactly but I do remember it said ATF for turbo cars. If I'm not mistaken it was caltex. I tried switching off the engine n taking off at a stop light n it spun the wheels at changes to 2nd and 3rd. But after that, it just doesn't shift back down. Takes off in 3rd, and car only starts to move after about 2000 rpm from that point on. Switch the engine off and back on, again it shifts up from 1st and gets stuck in 3rd. And it changes gears really fast. Too fast is what I feel..

Sounds to me like its going into limp mode. Had a ground issue that caused this same type of issue with going and stay in 3rd gear. Not saying its a ground issue but you may want to pull the TCU and check it for bad resistors.

Its hard to help with out knowing what all you have in the car. IF you have DSMlink V3 hook up a laptop and see what it says. option 2 get a logger and find out whats going on when this is happening.

Umm sorry for sounding like a noob, but I am very much a noob. No idea what dsmlink V3 is or a datalogger and not even sure if its available here in dubai. I have checked all damn 5 emirates and didn't even find a place to find an o2 sensor so pretty much everything I need, I have to order online n get down from states, get it sent to evadale in texas to my girlfriends place and then ship it here to keep the cost of shipping down.. All in all, getting any kind of part, sucks.

About the ATF, I do remember that it was SPIII not II

You are automatic?
I did some research and seems like your tranny or ecu is in limp mode. I never heard of transmission limp mode before. I guess I learned something new.
Tranny may be in Limp Mode - what do you think?

Thanks bro. That sound exactly like the issue I am having the car does take off from 3rd if the engine is running. If I shut it off and start again, it starts shifting up from 1st and gets stuck in 3rd again. Never gets to 4th. Anyone know of a solution? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Try post 13. I never heard of ecu sleep mode before but looks like it worked.
