2G GST Coupe vs Spyder Manual Transmission Mounts

Does anyone know why Mitsubishi parts websites would list GST Coupe Trans mount MB-911272 compatible for the GST coupe but not for the GST Spyder? It says "Without convertible" on each website. Any idea why this would be or if this is incorrect?

Different part numbers. I couldn't tell you why. I believe you need MR223344. Below I've provided screen snips from ASA/CAPS for the Spyder (top two snips) and then the same for 2g GST (bottom two snips) of the two roll stops and two mounts.

You are correct! That MR223344 is my part number, problem is that part is discontinued and unavailable anywhere, while MB911272 is readily available on multiple sites. Everything I've seen in person and on photos looks identical but I can't figure out why they are different part numbers. Also, Rock Auto lists them as interchangeable on all their aftermarket mounts. I'm about 90% sure they are interchangeable but just not certain.

Not at all. RockAuto can be a crapshoot for both fitment and quality. It's mostly 3rd party stuff but you can get lucky and find an OEM supplier sometimes.

If you can find OEM, using the correct part number for your platform from a reputable source, I would trust it'll fit. Finding OEM stock is usually the bigger problem.
