Earlier tonight I installed the greddy type-rs bov. Before this my gst (2g) would top out at .85 bar after the install i am showing 1.26 bar.

I know the 2g plastic bov is horible and leaks but should I have gained that much and is it normal for the boost to be that high on the stock turbo no supporting mods.

That shouldn't be a problem at your elevation. The stock turbo system on a 2g will make about 13psi at sea level, which is about .9bar. At your elevation, this is equivalent to about 1.1bar. So in total mass airflow, you are now only slightly higher (about 15%) than stock, and nothing that the stock fuel system can't handle at a peak moment. The stock fuel maps are really rich, too, so there's a built in buffer in that respect.
